Here’s a toe tapper to get your blood moving on a Sunday morning.
The Chuck Wagon Gang began singing together in 1936, and younger generations are still going strong. I wish group singing–around the piano, around campfires, on long car rides–would become a part of our lives again.
This sounds like a phonograph record.
It sure does, Jan. I remember describing phonograph records to a young relative, how they popped and skipped when scratched. I tried to explain a system I had of fastening pennies to the phonograph arm to add weight to the needle so it wouldn’t skip on a well-worn favorite record. The poor child looked mystified, lol.
I remember that trick with the pennies!!
